Hey everyone! I'd like to apologize for the lack of updates lately. Classes at my university start up tomorrow and I'll probably only update here either once or twice a week. Hope that's alright! For all of you heading back to school - whether it's jr. high, sr. high, or college - GOOD LUCK & HAVE A GREAT YEAR!

NEW True Blood tonight for all of you who follow the show. I'm almost done reading all the books that are currently out in the season and part of me both loves and isn't the greatest fan of what they're doing with the show. HBO is jumbling the books a bit and they've definitely stated that they won't go 100% along with the original story line and that's alright, however I really hope they don't totally screw it up.

Continuing on the subject of vampires, I can't stand Twilight. I'm going to put it out there in the open and I hope I don't get crucified for it. I had read the books and I was a fan in the beginning and then I re-read them and realized not only how cheesy they are, but how unhealthy the relationship between Edward and Bella is. I really don't think it's a good thing for all these young girls to be pining after - a dangerous, controlling, stalker boyfriend. PLUS! I'm pretty sure that Stephanie Meyer didn't even research the mythology behind vampires.

MONDAY is my last day of work and I couldn't be any happier about that. I move into my dorm room on Thursday and then head into Vancouver for the weekend to go to a convention for the television show Supernatural, where I get to see and hopefully meet Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, and then I'll be going to pick up my best friend from the airport. It should be a really good week. I'm super excited for it all.
